Last Update 2 months ago

In Sponsorvista you manage all your sponsorship contacts in one central place. Whether it’s a current sponsor, a potential lead, or a former contact – you can easily store the details. This keeps everything organized, transferable, and ready for invoicing or follow-up.

What are contacts?

A contact is a person or organization involved (or previously involved) in sponsorship or communication. Examples include:

  • Current sponsors

  • Potential sponsors (leads or prospects)

  • Former sponsors

  • Interesting companies or relations

  • Businesses that have never sponsored, but have been in touch

Adding contacts
  1. Go to Sponsor Management > Contacts

  2. Click Add new contact

  3. Choose Individual or Company and fill in the fields:

    • Name, title, email, and phone number

    • Address details

    • Invoice email address

    • Website and social media

    • Labels (e.g. Sponsor 2022, Easter Tournament, North Region)

    • Status (e.g. Lead, Prospect, Sponsor)

👉 Sponsorvista automatically looks up known companies and pre-fills available data. This saves time and reduces errors.

Smart filtering & segmentation

You can easily filter contacts by:

  • Status (e.g. Prospect, Sponsor, Lead)

  • Labels (e.g. Tournament 2024, Local company)

  • Owner or responsible user

  • Date added

Example:
Want to see who used to be a sponsor but isn’t anymore? Filter by status Prospect or Lead and No active sponsorship deal. This way you quickly spot opportunities for reactivation – perfect for sponsor acquisition.

Benefits of effective contact management

  • Up-to-date & central: everyone works with the same information

  • Efficient: automatic enrichment of known company details

  • Transferable: helpful during board changes or staff absence

  • Ready for invoicing: correct emails and addresses are always in place

  • Foundation for all deals: every sponsorship deal is linked to a contact

  • Acquisition & retention: segmentation by type, status, and history makes targeted follow-up simple
