How do tasks work in Sponsorvista?

Last Update 2 months ago

In Sponsorvista you can easily create tasks for yourself or assign them to other team members. This way you keep an overview of everything that needs to be done around sponsorship within your club, association, or organization. Tasks create structure and continuity, even when responsibilities change.

What are tasks?

Tasks are concrete actions you record in Sponsorvista, such as:

  • Calling a sponsor

  • Creating a new contract

  • Checking an invoice

  • Discussing a proposal

They help your team remember important actions and make sure everyone knows who is responsible for what.

Benefits of working with tasks
  • Overview: all sponsorship tasks in one place

  • Collaboration: assign tasks to team members

  • Priority: mark tasks as low, normal, or high priority

  • Continuity: when someone leaves, you immediately see what’s done and what’s still open

  • Transparency: everyone with access can follow progress

How to create a task
  1. Go to My tasks in the menu

  2. Click Add task (top right)

A window will open where you can fill in:

  • Title: give the task a short name (e.g. Call Kees)

  • Status: choose whether the task is To do, In progress, or Completed

  • Assigned to: select the team member responsible

  • Reviewer (optional): choose who needs to approve this task

  • Deadline: pick the due date

  • Priority: set low, normal, or high

  • Description: add extra details if needed

Click Add task to save.

Finding and filtering tasks

On the My tasks page you can filter by:

  • Status (to do, in progress, completed)

  • Priority

  • Responsible person

  • Reviewer

This makes it easy to find and follow up on the right tasks quickly.

Good to know

  • Tasks are visible to the entire team

  • You can also use tasks to track recurring responsibilities (e.g. annual contract renewals)

  • Everything is stored automatically, so no knowledge is lost when volunteers or board members change
